As these are a new concept, we want to make clear what you can look forward to receiving in your Green Travel Plan:
The Plan will examine your organisation’s needs, and put them in the context of local, national, and international developments interacting with transport and the environment. That includes policy issues, and may also reference research breakthroughs of relevance.
A site audit will be conducted to explore the specifics of your needs, which together with cost savings analysis will present a valuable picture of where you are now and what you can realistically accomplish. To achieve those goals, targets will be set and means of monitoring them put in place.
We believe in supporting change from within, and rather than imposing initiatives that may be inappropriate or inelegant, we will suggest ways in which we can work together to initiate change.
To assist you in getting maximum benefit from the Green Travel Plan, we provide ideas on marketing it internally, with action points and a co-ordinator to ensure that responsibility is taken for guiding progress.
The Green Travel Plan will take no more than three weeks to complete, and will be delivered to you in line with our environmental policy in the form of a downloadable PDF.
Extensive research goes into producing a document 20-30 pages long focusing on the factors that matter where your travel needs are concerned. Recommendations are included that will enable you to start saving money and reduce your environmental impact immediately
